A Traditional Bamboo Music
"Sengkayung" a Traditional Bamboo Music 25 December 2015. Today is Christmas day. I think today is a special day because this is the first time I celebrate the Christmas day in Ketapang, Indonesia. It is located in a remote area of Ketapang, kecamatan Riam, Jelay Hulu. It is about my experience during a period of time, especially today I spent my time after the break of Christmas pray in the morning. We go to the Perigi village, one of the places is not too far from Riam. It needs about 30 minutes to arrive there. In Perigi area, i see the traditional ceremony called "Sengkayung". Sengkayung is traditional bamboo music which able to play by 4 music player. this music contains four main part of song title;
